Friday, May 17th: Drive to Ljubljana via Motovun

Motovun is a small fortified hilltop town slightly out of the way from the main tourist bus routes. Very authentic with a creative element to it. Unique vendors with minimal tacky tourist tchotchke shops. The views from the top are of endless woodlands and fields. James and Lori climbed the bell tower. We would have stayed for lunch at one of the restaurants perched on the side of the main thoroughfare, but we were on a schedule… 🥾🥾🥾🥾
